DeMarkay Williams

I’m DeMarkay Williams, I’m 19, a Broadcast and Digital Media Graduate and part of the original cohort of students at The Global Academy. I started there in September 2016 and graduated in June 2018.
I’m passionate about all things Audio and Radio, especially when I became the Head of Production and Station Coordinator for my school’s radio station – Youths Choice. In short, I basically made the station sound good with a huge bank of jingles and imaging.
Being one of the fellows is amazing and I can’t wait to start!

James Trice

East London born music enthusiast, James Trice cut his teeth DJing for small and large venues throughout the UK, this is where his love of audio truly began. Having read how many radio DJs got there start in hospital radio, he approached Whitechapel AM, his local hospital station.
Just hoping to help out in some way, he was given the chance to become a presenter. The training he received there lead to him volunteering at local community station London Fields Radio and more recently legendary Hip-Hop station Itch FM.
All of which would lead to him wanting to make some more compelling pieces, audio based art that spoke to people. He took short courses and went to many audio talks, which ultimately put him on the path to the Multitrack fellowship.

Raymond Tannor

Raymond Tannor currently hosts a podcast entitled Peace of No Mind on Transmission Roundhouse. It’s a speech-based show where guests are interviewed to find out what peace of mind means to an individual, collective or group who positively frame their negative experiences.
He has a keen passion for collecting stories and an interest in documentary audio that unpacks niche experiences. He would love to produce podcasts and radio shows that highlight underrepresented groups/individuals in society. With an interest in art and theatre, he has previously facilitated for The Old Vic and the Roundhouse and appreciates most mediums that are used for creative expression.
